Blister Foil Printing Machine for Clear Medicine Information

A blister foil printing machine applies permanent product and regulatory information to thin aluminium lidding foil before it reaches the tablet or capsule sealing line.

Why Accurate Blister Foil Printing Matters

Every medicine pack carries information that must remain legible throughout distribution and use. Batch numbers, manufacturing and expiry dates, medicine names, dosage instructions, logos and barcodes need clean edges and dependable alignment. Smudged or misplaced print can lead to rejected packaging, production waste and avoidable compliance problems. A dedicated pharmaceutical blister foil printing machine handles this work at production speed while protecting the thin foil from tearing and wrinkling.

How the Foil Moves Through the Machine

Plain or coated aluminium foil is loaded at the unwind section and guided through accurately aligned rollers. Controlled web tension keeps the material flat as the printing cylinder transfers ink to its outer surface. Registration adjustments maintain the relationship between artwork and repeat length, while a matched hot-air or electrical drying system prepares the web for clean rewinding. The printed roll is then ready for the blister sealing process.

Materials and Production Controls

The machine can be configured for aluminium blister foil and compatible pharmaceutical films, including PVC and PVDC-coated webs used elsewhere in the pack. Stable unwind and rewind control, balanced impression pressure, efficient ink delivery and suitable drying are central to repeatable output. PLC or HMI controls can simplify routine speed and tension changes, while automatic registration options assist multi-colour work.
